Introduction 

This privacy policy applies solely to the FieldPie mobile application (the “App”) available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. It outlines how we collect, use, and protect user data within the application. The App is designed for business use and is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children or general consumers. 

Data Collection 

We request photo access permission to enable users to capture and upload images as part of their form submissions. This is a core functionality of the App. We also use the FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC permission on Android devices for background synchronization of task-related data. 

Data Usage 

All collected data is used solely for providing services such as task tracking, form submissions, and communication between users and supervisors. No data is sold or used for advertising purposes. We do not collect financial, health, or biometric data, nor do we serve advertisements or use advertising identifiers. 

Data Sharing 

We do not share personal data with third parties except for service providers that assist with app functionality (e.g., Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting). These providers are obligated to comply with data protection laws and only access data to perform designated tasks. 

Security 

All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS protocols. Sensitive data, including photos and documents, are securely uploaded and stored on protected servers. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user data from unauthorized access. 

Permissions 

The App may request the following permissions: 
– Location (approximate and precise) 
– Camera 
– File and media access (read images) 
– Foreground service for background sync 
These permissions are essential for app functionality and are requested with user consent. Disabling them may impair the App’s performance. 

Content Rating 

The App is officially rated through the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) and displays PEGI 3, ESRB Everyone, and USK 0 ratings. Despite its general audience rating, the App is operationally intended for users aged 18 and older. 

Children’s Privacy 

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has submitted personal data without parental consent, we will promptly delete it. 

Policy Updates 

We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be published within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
